Yes! I love that about them.
They do soup or salad. With your choice of potatoes (hash browns/French fries/American fries etc) not sure if they have potato pancakes. As well as coleslaw
All of there breakfast stuff is top notch and love it. I would on the other hand not recommend the meat loaf or anything with the gravy.
Very quick service and delicious breakfast food! If you are looking for a good breakfast cafe definitely check it out. It is usually pretty busy but the wait is never long. I had a great breakfast deal. All this food for $5.29!!
I took my mother for breakfast on the Chrismas weekend. I loved the food, but the restaurant was packed. I get headaches when places are noisy so I wasn't feeling too well while eating. My sister went before and said it was not packed when she went, so i will definately will go back!
This restaurant came recommended by the hotel staff. Upon arriving we were greeted and seated quickly. Service was fast and very friendly. I had the broasted chicken, which I would put on par with Chicago's. The salad was cold and fresh. A great place to eat when in Delevan.
The food was great, the waitresses/waiters were very kind, and this place was well worth the wait! So happy we came!
Service out stand food was great and good amount of food for money.
This place is sooooo good 👍 prices are really reasonable. Our waitress was on top of her game! I wish more places were more like this.
Sunday lunch the restaurant was packed and staff was hammered with orders and big groups yet....We were seated immediately, our waitress grabbed our drink order right away, hostess also tried to get our drink order, we ordered and got our food within about 7 minutes. Coffee refills were appropriate and quick. Food was great and wait staff friendly. I give all this detail because the place was so packed-good homestyle food reasonable pricing. Recommend for breakfast/lunch highly!
Rapid service upon walking in, Friendly staff, Food was cooked great and tasted awesome
Service excellent, food good and plentiful...highly recommend!
Found this place when my parents moved to Delavan. We go there all the time! My parents have since moved but we still go all the time! Prime rib and broasted chicken is amazing!
Nice restaurant. We have gone here for breakfast many times. Staff is friendly and food is good. Really like the coffee. Two orders of two eggs, hash browns, toast and bacon....$20 including tip.👍👍👍👍
Great food, good service. Always very welcoming and friendly.
Regularly come here, wonderful staff, amazing prices and the food's good as well.
Quaint place in downtown Delavan! Great food, great staff!
Elizabeth's is "our town" favorite!!! Being that we are new to Delavan, we have periodically been trying out the local fare. Elizabeth's has a huge variety of tasty dishes to choose from on their menu. The Mexican omelet is by far, my go-to favorite. And...their pecan pie, just delicious!! Breakfast is served all day also. The prices are great and the amount of food served is filling. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming, too! One really gets a sense of that ol' town hospitality, warmth and charm when dining here.
Food was great, service was phenomenal. Good prices too.
Absolutely one of the best places to eat. It's a must place to go very nice, friendly environment.
The best home made food I had in a long time. Gypsy skillet is great!!
We chose Elizabeth’s Cafe based on the reviews. We were just passing through and wanted some hot soup. Heard they made their own. I was very disappointed. Chicken noodle soup was mostly overcooked macaroni noodles with 1 big chunk of chicken, 1 sliver of carrot and 3 large chunks of celery. Coffee was fair. We were not asked how our meal was, but offered more coffee or asked if we wanted anything else. As soon as the soup was gone are check was put on the table. Waitress did her job but certainly no extra effort was given.
Staff was very nice. Prices were reasonable. Wish there were more vegan options, but they made adjustments to make my meal meat free.
The burgers were delicious and you could smell them from the street.
Great breakfast and service and a very polite staff.
This restuarant is a little gem . Great homemade soups. The atmosphere is a country feel and very homey and laid back. I ate the Malibu Chicken sandwich which was amazing. I highly recommend this Elizabeth's Cafe.
Good place to eat but there air is to cold inside, makes it uncomfortable to eat.
The only item that was cooked from scratch was the baked potato. When we sat down the table was dirty and had to request it to be wiped down. The steak I ordered was butterflied and had no seasoning and was dry. Our salads definently came out of a bag and half of it was bad. Brown spots and wilted. The fried shrimp was frozen and under cooked. The vegetables was freshly warmed straight from a can. The bread was individually wrapped and heated in a microwave. Will never go to this established again. I do not recommend anyone going their either.
Went there for breakfast....delicious. Came back the next day for more. This time I had the Ruben very good. Highly recommended. Friendly staff, fast service, great food.
We had a combination of lunch and breakfast. Philly steak sandwich was very good, hamburger was yummy. Taco salad was huge and delicious, Garden burrito also excellent, breakfast skillet delicious. We were there about 12:30 pm.We would stop here again!
It was a nice place to eat. Good service and good food.
Service was slow even though employees were wandering around. Food was good. Senior selections and prices.
The Elizabeth Burger tasted like it was frozen and the fries were perfect! Side salad is just a bowl of iceberg....zzzzzz. The staff started off so nice. Then, I ordered, got my salad, then my lunch. She never asked how I liked it (until I was handed the check) or more water. Not sure if I would recommend or go back.
I had corned beef hash eggs Benedict and a large tomato juice and my girlfriend had chocolate chip waffles. Everything was awesome including the coffee!
Very friendly and a great place to take your family to eat
We’ve been going to Elizabeth’s for many years and the food and service are always good.but today, Aug. 8th, as we’re sitting outside eating, two servers were not wearing masks and every single person who went inside to eat and came out when finished did not have a mask on. Two other servers had masks in under their nose and one under her mouth - despite a state mandate that masks must be worn inside and outside (when social distancing isn’t an option). Even the tables outside are only a few feet away from each other. One elderly man and women walking in (he was using oxygen and a portable tank) was talking about how he had the virus and it took two months to get (hence the oxygen). We were longtime customers - now we’ll never eat there again.
Food was fantastic. I had steak and eggs. Steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. My wife had pancakes. Light and fluffy. Service was quick and friendly just like what you would expect from a small town diner. The only down side is that it can get pretty noisy. It's a smaller restaurant with a lot of tables so between the conversation and dishes clattering it gets loud.I would highly recommend Elizabeth's. Just try to go between meals.
New go-to for breakfast. Great food and atmosphere.
Food is traditional greasy spoon. Their breakfast is too greasy. Their soup and lunches are pretty good! Usually very busy on the weekends.
Food was good but they aren't following any kinda health guidelines. No masks for workers or anybody. Every table is full and its packed.
Finally GOOD coffee, and LOTS of it. You will be asked frequently if you want to top it off, and I LOVE THAT! If there is one thing I dislike, it is a place that you have to track someone down to get more coffee. The food is good here too. Prices are VERY reasonable. If you come on a weekend, be prepared to wait, but it is WORTH the wait!
Love this place! ❤️ Always friendly faces and great staff! Amazing food for a great price! It's nice for the occasional date out, or a bite to grab with a friend! Love love love it
Good service, clean and prompt! Their menu prices are low compared to other morning restaurants so that’s a big plus. I love the skillets, benefits and burritos. For lunch I love the crispers and melts!
The food was DELICIOUS, the portions were generous and the prices were affordable. Our friends slept in so we recommended and they we equally impressed. I enjoyed a custom ordered omelette and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Yummmmm!
Great food and service. You get a lot of food for the buck. Not overly priced. I hear the fish fry is wonderful! Nice place with menu items that you would typically find at diners.
Great service & homemade food! Waitresses all work together seamlessly & are very helpful.
To cheap to turn on the air and the gravy was disgusting undercooked flower. We've been patrons in the past but we wont be coming back here for a long time. What a horrid experience. The people at the register could care less.
Sad to say as I usually have a good experience here however today I was seated and left after waiting for a waitress to take a order for me. Only have a hour for lunch and. That includes drive time. After a 10 minute wait and not so much as a hello I figured they had enough business without having any from me. Sad as I usually enjoy my lunches there. 😞😞😞😞
Great environment and great food
Great food and very nice waitress. It was an excellent Father's Day dinner.
Great breakfast stop on our motorcycle road trip. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely menu and cafe. Thanks for a great road trip memory.
Quality food. Fast, friendly service. Quaint cafe with low prices.
